How Briefs Up handles the briefs, answers, and technical information needed to run the product.

Briefs Up may set an anonymous first-party device cookie so daily limits apply to a browser or device instead of only to a shared Wi-Fi network.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide the Briefs Up service.
  • Analyze and improve submitted briefs.
  • Generate clarification questions and rewritten briefs.

3. AI Processing

Briefs Up uses AI model providers to analyze user-submitted briefs and generate outputs.

This means that text you submit may be sent to third-party AI service providers for processing.

Do not submit confidential, sensitive, restricted, or legally protected information unless you have permission to process it through Briefs Up and its service providers.

We do not use your submitted briefs to intentionally publish, sell, or publicly disclose your content.

4. Data Storage and Retention

For MVP launch, Briefs Up should follow this principle:

We do not permanently store submitted briefs unless the user creates an account, saves a project, or explicitly uses a feature that requires storage.

Some data may still be processed temporarily through servers, logs, hosting providers, AI providers, analytics tools, or security systems.

If saved projects, accounts, billing, or history are added in the future, update this Privacy Policy to explain what is stored and for how long.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate Briefs Up, such as:

  • AI model providers.
  • Hosting providers.
  • Database providers.
  • Analytics providers.
  • Error monitoring tools.
  • Email or support tools.
  • Payment processors, if payments are added later.

We may also disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, or respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your submitted briefs.

6. International Processing

Briefs Up may use service providers located in different countries. This means your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

Where required, we will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are used for international data transfers.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through Briefs Up.

However, no online service is completely secure. You should avoid submitting highly sensitive, confidential, or restricted information unless you are authorized to do so and understand the risks.

  • Access your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your information.
